Qatar Airways to Resume Flights to Most Boring City in the World with 777

DOHA– Qatar Airways (QR) has revised its planned service resumption to Canberra (CBR), with the carrier now set to restart the Doha (DOH) to Melbourne (MEL) to Canberra route on 08 December 2026. The airline will operate the service four times weekly using the Boeing 777-300ER.

The update forms part of the carrier’s Northern Winter 2026/27 schedule across Oceania. Separately, Qatar Airways filed Airbus A380 service to Guangzhou (CAN), though actual booking inventory pointed to the Boeing 777-300ER instead.
